It is no new news that some Christians have trumped up claims of themselves

I don't like doing this, but we have to have gatekeepers, otherwise we become foolish

I have been led astray many times, like many Christians getting caught up into the latest thing

But I am glad when I am corrected, I might be angry for awhile, but it is a learning experience

No Christian can ever say that they have not been led astray at sometime, after all, we are sheep

 

I used to work for a person that had a strong prophetic gift

There were several of us that joined his ministry.

However, after a while we began to realize that things weren't right

This man demanded to be called a prophet

He boasted about his exploits

He was very controlling and used scripture to manipulate with fear.

Later we found out it was not all it was cracked up to be

Even though he spoke to huge audiences in Africa with Reinhard Bonnke

 

So what I find is that when someone self promotes themselves, you could be looking at trouble

We really need to do our homework before we jump on the bandwagon

The, I prayed about it so I don't have to is not good enough

Remember, we can all be deceived

That is why there is fellowship, we need to watch out  for one another

Being a Lone Ranger is never good, Hebrews warns about that very strongly

One becomes prideful and thinks that only God speaks to them when this happens

Therefore it is easier to be deceived

Lets be cautious before we pump somebody up

After all, there are 2 prophets to return, and they are both Jewish

Remember also that Moses was a very humble man, he did not brag about himself

And that is what a real prophet should be.
