Walt, I could not agree with you more regarding what you said. IT SEEMS THAT THE WORDS AND THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST....................is not only not ''approved'' by secular networks, but often by some ''big name'' preachers/!!
 
I know that Joel Osteen is very popular. Have any tried watching his tv program recently. He often mentions the word ''God''.................such as ''God is for you.............God wants to bless you and etc.''.
 
BUT IN THE LAST FEW YEARS I HAVE WATCHED HIM HE HAS NOT ONCE............MENTIONED THE NAME OF JESUS OR JESUS CHRIST......................he only says ''God''.
 
Perhaps he does not want to offend his watchers who believe in 'a' God..........maybe their God, but he is timid to mention Jesus Christ and THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
 
There may be some RARE exceptions to this ............but I had the Holy Spirit quicken me to his not mentioning ''Jesus'' or Jesus Christ or the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.
 
SURELY THAT IS NOT.............NOT .........PLEASING TO OUR FATHER AND SAVIOR.
 
Joel Osteen's father, John Osteen OFTEN MENTIONED JESUS CHRIST AND THE BLOOD.
 
When Joel was asked if he felt homosexuality was a ''sin''...............his answer was ''I don't think it is God's best''.
 
When asked if other millions in the world could be saved without acknowledging Jesus as Lord and Savior, he responded ''that is God's business''.
 
But the WORD OF GOD SAYS ''THERE IS NO OTHER NAME (THAN JESUS) WHEREBY MEN MUST BE SAVED''.....................
 
How millions can support this feel good preaching is beyond me.....and yet he seems so pleasant and appealing to the masses.
 
Paul said he preached ''CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED''.................AND joel osteen will not, and has not preached that . And many call him ''america's preacher''.
 
And Joel came from a Pentecostal background so I would assume he believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit................I know his father John did!!
 
And note this ,  Billy Graham, who is Baptist almost ALWAYS MENTIONED JESUS AND HIM BEING THE ONLY WAY TO GOD.
 
I DON'T THINK I WILL EVER WATCH JOEL OSTEEN AGAIN..............EVER.
WHEN SOMEONE IS ASHAMED OF THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AND BLOOD OF CHRIST, THEN THEY ARE REPROBATE............PERIOD.
 
I HAD RATHER LISTEN TO A DONKEY BRAY IN A TIN BARN  AT MIDNIGHT THAT HAVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST PERVERTED BY SUCH MIS-LED PREACHERS !!!!!
