April,regarding the dream you spoke of, the Lord led me to the following verses. (Ephesians 6:10-20)10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. The evil apparition is the "evil day" mentioned therein verse 13.The part of the garden that was stolen, was the "Belt of Truth" (apparently)The child's curse bounced off your "breastplate of righteousness".Deflecting from vengence, and walking away are the "shoes of the Gospel of peace".The Gang being in your garden now, and your knowledge that there is no ammo in the Guns is the "Shield of faith", which extinguished these darts.Foreknowledge and assurance of the Spirit is the helmet of salvation. (lack of fear)I assume that you then fought back with the "sword of the Spirit, Which is the Word of God" later in the dream.?
What stood out to me is the "stolen" belt of Truth. When this evil day comes, we will appear to be on the side of error. So convincing will the deceptions of Satan be. This is the opening that the enemy will take to attack you. "Young believers" do not have a firm grip on this shield, and the "distraction", the ball, will have them put their shield down.
But in reality, You have fastened the whole armor of God, But the real belt of Truth will not be visible to the enemy.Had the strip of land in the garden been in the middle, then it would have been the belt of truth. Having had some of your garden stolen though is a sign of weakness.
Read 2 corinthians 12:8-10. This is Paul discussing his "thorn". Know that in our weakness, we are strong. This is the personal part of your dream, The weakness that allows the attack to occur.
Of note, also is the fact that the attacks were done by children. "The Love of Many will grow cold"
