"Teach A Child A Way they should go!"

I want to share a wonderful truth in Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go,and when he(she) is old he will not turn from it. I was brought up as a child knowing God vaguely by my grandmother teaching me the our Father Prayer taught by Jesus himself recorded in the book of Matthew and even though my parents never had the proper understanding of God that prayer planted a seed which in return allowed God to pursue me and later in life I found the Lord. I always knew that seed in a young childs life never left me for as a young childs faith and prayers are always heard because we believe and have the faith that can move mountains. Well any chance I had I would jump at in teaching my nieces and nephews all I knew about God but most importantly the invitation to receive eternal life. Many years past after this and one by one my sisters children are springing up and letting me know that because of my witness they never stopped thinking about and talking to God. One in particular was my niece Cassie who is an adult with a daughter of her own. She has returned and is securely in the palm of His hand and I just want to thank the Lord for his faithfulness of His word. Planting seeds is just the beginning and they need water and the Lord has always brought to my remembrance of praying without ceasing and like myself we wander and get off the path. I drew up a list of my family friends and enemies and I began to pray for the Holy spirit to water the seed of faith and bring them into the fold and It is like winning a million dollars actually witnessing God work on the lives of people you pray for and witness to. Some we will never know what takes place but God has given me a special wink that He is the lover of souls and he who wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11.
