Do you know what you should be focusing on? Most people think that the end-all and be-all of life is getting money, getting money, getting money! This is what most people focus their entire lives on!
But, let me tell you a little known truth. Your life on earth is deceptively short and money isn't really all that important! But oh so many people just want the dollar bill! They want to get a big pile of money so that they can get that brand new car and retire in style! I admit - there was a time in my life when I had this kind of thinking. Now, I know what Ecclesiastes 10:19 says - and, yes, money can help. But to focus your entire life on it will only make you miserable. True joy and happiness, not to mention security, comes from a life centered around the Godhead - Yahweh (God the Father), Yahushua (Jesus), and Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). When you focus your life on getting money, money, more money, you end up destroying yourself.
But, now I want to discuss where you should really putting your time, saints. GETTING HEAVENLY TREASURE! Yes, this is the kind of treasure you really want because you will have it FOREVER. You may have heard it said, "You can't take it (earthly treasure) with you when you die!" And, it really is true! What you really need to focus on is - number one - getting saved; and, number two - accumulating treasure in the next life!
First, you need to repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Next, you need to demonstrate to the world that you really do love Jesus! And, you can do this in a variety of ways. The primary way is by demonstrating the love of God to those around you. Now, you may ask, "How do you show the love of God??" Well, you need to share Jesus Christ with them (by doing this, you are caring for their eternal soul). Let them know that Jesus loves them. Tell them to cling to Christ! Sure, people may hate you for it, but remember that these people are probably hell-bound. If they do revile you and curse you for sharing Christ, remember that they, themselves, are the progeny of those who killed the Christ! But, if they mock you because you stand with Christ, remember, that you will be blessed in heaven. And, never forget, these evildoers can only do to you what God allows!
Now, let me share a little of what this webpage has to offer. As you scroll down the page, you will read this:
"The Lord showed me my crown, it was without stones! It didn't impress me like my Pastor’s crown. I asked, “Why is my crown without stones, like the Pastor's?” The Lord said, “You can't understand all she has gone through to have this kind of crown with plenty of stones on it.”
An angel is appointed to place stones on the crowns when people repent and come to Jesus.
When you win souls to the Kingdom of Heaven, the angel will put a stone on your crown!
When you help the less privileged, the angel will add another stone to your crown!
When you help the widow, the angel will add another stone to your crown!
When you help the poor and the homeless, the angel will add more stones to your crown!"
Simply, if you want to have heavenly
treasure, HELP PEOPLE!
If you have extra money, spend it on the
indigent! Don't hoard all that money for
yourself! Share your food with the needy!
Get ou there and do some good deeds!
Jesus says in Luke 14:12-14: "Then He
also said to him who invited Him, “When you give a
dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your
brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest
they also invite you back, and you be repaid.
But when you give a feast, invite the poor,
the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will
be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you
shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”"
Visit the sick, elderly, and lonely. Give
them a Bible or a tract! If you see a person
who needs some transportation, help them!
Then, give them a little money for food!
Doing this will mean blessings in your life.
Remember, helping people and doing good deeds
is what being a Christian is all about! God
didn't give you what you have so that you can keep
it all for yourself! No, He wants you to use
what He has given you to be a blessing to all those
around you. And, the more He has given you,
the more is expected from you (Luke 12:48).
But do not forget this one very important
concept. God's love knows NO limits.
So, simply, the more love you give away, the
more God pours His love into your life! Truly,
you reap what you sow - AND MORE THAN YOU WILL
EVER KNOW!
I love you lots!
