I’ve been following the intriguing and thought-provoking posts on Ariel Sharon, and I would like to add my two-cents worth.

     Rev.13:3b & 4b reads:--- The whole world was astonished and followed the beast........Men........asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?” NIV.

     This implies to me that the Beast has most of the world’s armies under his control. (And at the end, in the Battle of Armageddon, (most likely) all the world’s armies, as he foolishly opposes Christ’s return.)

     I cannot see the majority of the world’s armies following an ex-Israeli Prime Minister, especially since the Bible predicts that Israel will be alone, and only God will be with them.

     On the other hand, a charismatic, death-defying, Satan-possessed US or EU leader, with the world’s purse-strings in his fingers, and with the West’s entire weaponry at his command; this is much more likely.

     Although, if Ariel Sharon does emerge from his coma, it would prove to be a very powerful voice in Israel’s favour, when the whole world would be moving against Israel.

     In these darkest of days before the Dawn, may the grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the love of Abba Father God, and the fellowship of the Indwelling Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen. Come Yeshua. Amen.
