Hi Jennie,Being a reader of Five Doves for several years I recall from memory you have brought this topic up at least two times in the past. Obviously you feel very strongly about who will make the Rapture and who will not. It's difficult via this type of communiqué to really understand what is behind your reason for bringing up this discussion. It's certainly an engaging topic, but I can sense you have very strong thoughts and feelings about why God may Rapture some Believers while leaving others behind. I appreciate your openness and willingness to engage, debate, and respectively agree or disagree with your brothers and sisters in Christ. In the end, despite our theological differences, we are brothers and sisters in Christ, bound by His love. We can agree to disagree. To put it in perspective, we are all sinners. You and I and most all Doves have committed murder ( multiple times) and adultery ( or fornication) countless times. We have broken nearly every commandment. We have denied the Lord as Peter did on many occasions. We have lied. We have coveted others and their belongings. We have worshipped idols and still struggle with giving our love and adoration to others and things more than Jesus. In other words, we ALL do a pretty good job of sinning every single day. Try not to sin for just an hour. Just merely in thought. Can you honestly do it ?Christianity is NOT about being good. It's not about sin management. It's about our thoroughly depraved state and our utter need for a Savior. I have known Jesus for 30 years. The more I know Him the more I see what a sinner I am. Despite all my sins, His grace abounds to pay the debt I cannot. You see Jennie, you will not make the Rapture. You can't. Your simply not good enough. Neither am I. But thank God it's not up to our behavior. We'd all be left behind. Jesus is the one and only reason we will be Raptured. It's His work on the cross that assures us, not how we measure up by being good or sinning less.Your Lord did it all. I know, it sounds unbelievable. But it's true. He chose us. He saved us. He will rescue us.Rest in His love today dear sister in Christ. He delights in you. Not because of what you have done, but simply because He loves Jennie. Blessings,Steve W.
