You are so right!! I really loved reading your post, Steven!!  I have read many good articles on the subject, but yours was an excellent reminder of the important points, so nicely covered, and easily understood.  I found just the opposite to be true in the articles written by Pastor F.M. Riley, who adamantly disagrees with your findings.

I read all three of the articles written by Pastor F.M. Riley, that he, himself, has recommended, to prove that America is NOT Babylon, and just do not get how he can see that in the Scriptures. Even though he provides a ton of them!!

He believes that the only place it could be is the ancient Babylon.  He goes on to talk about the three “Babylons” of the Bible and claims, “However, none of these three Babylons examined represent or typify the United States of America.”

HE NEEDS TO READ YOUR POST AND ALL THE OTHER GREAT BIBLICALLY SUPPORTED EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY.  WE ARE IN THE END TIMES, THE BOOKS ARE UNSEALED AND THE TRUTH CAN BE SEEN.

I totally disagree and do not see how he comes to these conclusions even though he quotes the Bible over and over, and may I add in a very arrogant and nasty demeanor.  He takes most passages out of context with the rest of the Bible.  I think he cannot see the forest for the trees!!

His article on Babylon did prompt me to look into the rebuilding of the city of Babylon in Iraq, and also the “George W. Bush Palace” that has been built in Iraq, wondering if that could have anything to do with it.  But, I came up empty handed on the evidence.

 

HIS THREE BABYLONS

All three point to America in my opinion, and I know I am not alone on this. THERE ARE SO MANY GREAT STUDIES BY REPUTABLE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS.

The Nation of Babylon:

This is the only one of the three that is referring to the ancient nation of Babylon….the mother nation.  Surely America is the new Babylon the daughter of that ancient nation. THE END TIME BABYLON…THERE CAN BE NO OTHER.

The Mystical Babylon of Revelation

This is definitely the “spiritual” side of the evil religion of ancient Babylon and America has to be the worst of all nations in this regard.  WE WERE FOUNDED ON IDEA OF ROME…NEW ROMAN EMPIRE OF MANY STATES!!!

Does Pastor Bailey know about the city of Babylon right near New York harbor…this has been, and is, an evil place!  Right near the Statue of Liberty and Fire Island. There are lots of good articles to read about this city on the net.

All that is enough, but in his other article about the World Trade Center he really seems to lose it; and his proof turns out proving the opposite of his thesis.

Pastor Riley also seems to believe that the World Trade Center will not be rebuilt, when work on the NEW WORLD TOWER has been going on for some time now, and will be finished in April of 2013.  Long before they could possibly rebuild all of the ancient city of Babylon!!  Much of the NEW WORLD TRADE CENTER has been built in exactly the same location.  It seems as if America is shaking her fist in the air at God.  Rebuilding on the blood sacrifice of all those innocent people!!  The Memorial for these people is obscene and dark, and looks so unholy.  Flaunting this blood sacrifice right in the faces of the families of these poor souls!!

THERE CAN BE NO DOUBT THAT AMERICA IS THE NEW BABYLON….THE BIBLICAL DAUGHTER HAVING THE SAME CHARACTERISTICS AND SPIRIT OF THE MOTHER!!!

The One World trade center is being rebuilt on its own base and has not moved back to Iraq….it was moved from IRAQ to America (NEW ROME) A LONG TIME AGO!! 

We are too far into the end-times for the city of Babylon in Iraq to be totally rebuilt and become what the Bible tells us she will be. I gleaned just the opposite from his articles, there is just too much proof to the contrary.  He might be right on everything else he preaches, but not on this.

His third article about Rome on 7 hills…I totally believe that is not the true of the city on seven hills…they are seven mountains and mountains represent continents.  The harlot sits on all the kingdoms of this world; ALL SEVEN CONTINENTS!!!

 

GOOD JOB STEVEN!!!  Well written post, most informative and understandable.

No disrespect to Pastor Riley, but those dogs, (your articles), just don’t hunt!!! 

If somehow you are correct, you have my humble apologies, beforehand.  I WOULD MUCH RATHER KNOW THE TRUTH THAN JUST THINK I AM RIGHT!!!  WE MUST REMEMBER THESE END TIMES ARE REVEALING MUCH AS WE LIVE EACH DAY, AND BE WILLING TO DISCERN THIS TRUTH AS THE LORD REVEALS IT TO US.
