Hi Alan
Thank-you for your kind response. Finally someone who does get
it. Yes the Jews require a sign. There is a difference in what
Paul taught and what was taught before God changed him. There is
another period coming where it gets tough to be a Christian and
to be saved. Thank God we live in the period of the time of
Gentiles or the Gospel of Grace. I really worry about a lot of
church goers who are depending on what they do to get them to
heaven. This is why I am so concentrated on this. Maybe I go a
bit overboard but I believe we will see a lot of people in
heaven we never expected to see and unfortunatley not see some
we expected to.
The biggest point I try to get across is tell a person the plan
of salvation. A person cannot "turn from his sin" before he is
saved. If Christians would quit trying to get people saved by
telling them to quit doing this or quit doing that they might
find out a lot more people will be saved.
Here is what I am trying to say.
1-A person must repent(change his/her mind about how to be
saved) If they were believing they had to be good enough or they
were trusting in Mohammed that person needs to "change his mind"
about being saved.
2-Next that person then believes that God sent his Son Jesus to
live the perfect life. That Jesus was crucified on the cross for
OUR sins and that he rose from the grave.
3-Finally he/she accepts by faith that Jesus is the only way to
heaven as Jesus made the sacrifice for us.
Once this happens the Holy Spirit indwells in this person
forever and he will never lose it. He will then be directed by
the Holy Spirit on living and so forth. He needs to understand
he still has the sinful nature and will still committ sin but he
will be seen as perfect by God because of Jesus shed blood.
It is such a simple way God has made for us but it has been made
very difficult by people who do not rightly divide the Word. You
know even if you do not rightly divide the Word you still should
come to the same conclusion. I did.
And I have been watching for the rapture for a long time. Can't
wait!!
thanks
