Hello, John and Doves,
Brother Jason, I believe that the phrase, “THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST,” is a remez to both 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and Hosea 6:2.
"After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight." Hosea 6:2
FYI: The third millennium since Jesus Christ was born began on January 1, 2001--at the latest.
This scripture, in return, sends us to all the other time markers in Holy Scripture. Many Doves have written much about the times in which we live. May I humbly recommend my own post as a start:

After you read this, you will see that we are close to the midpoint, April 11,2012. As you read other good posts, you will wonder at Jesus' prophetic words:
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy."

"THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST"
Dear Doves,
I have always held the pre-trib rapture position. But, lately Bruce Warner’s posts have been making me question this. Last night while I was praying, I asked the lord to please confirm for me if the rapture would be pre, mid or post tribulation. Almost immediately I heard in the spirit “THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST”. I have been meditating on this all morning trying to understand what this means. I have a strong feeling that the lord wants me to post this. Please reply if this means anything to any of you.
YBIC,
Jason C
