"Beware Error!!!"

Hello, John and Doves,

Given that those led by the Spirit of God [Romans 8:14] are poor in spirit of themselves [Matthew 5:3],
we can see that,
"The beggar who is sitting in the marketplace is deaf, insofar as the song of the mockingbird is concerned."
[Evelyn Tremble (Peter Sellers) as James Bond 007 to Le Chiffre (Orson Welles) in the baccarat scene in Casino Royale (1967)]

As Obi-wan Kenobi said to Han Solo, "Who's more foolish:  the fool, or the fool who follows him?"
[from Star Wars, Episode IV--A New Hope]

In other words, though many may quote scripture and try to get you to believe that scripture does not lie [which indeed is true], they may themselves be deceived by the Enemy.  Don't let the cleverness of man deceive you by any means!

It is written,
"For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
    "For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom;
"but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks [fn] foolishness,
"but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
"Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."
1 Corinthians 1:21-25

There are so many obviously conflicting and irreconcilable ideas out there that some of them must be false.  Among those ideas that are false, some are absolute bullocks.

For it is written,
"...Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge." [fn]

Again, it is written,
"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God."

2 Cor 1:20  NIV

Therefore,
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
"Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
"Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
"To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen."
1 Peter 5:6-11  NIV
