"Jason C. - The Dead Shall Rise First"

Hi Jason,

You asked if this meant anything to anyone, to please reply.  It does mean something to me, in fact, emphatically it does.  I want to share an experience with you and the other doves.  I have shared this with a few others in email, but have not posted on Five Doves previously because I was not sure what it meant exactly - i.e. I felt it was open to my interpretation.  But, nonetheless the experience I had was such that it has only become stronger with time and not less.  Thus, I will post the events that occurred on Pentecost of 2009.

I live in a small town on the Oregon Coast.  Like so many others I always look to the Feast Days with heightened anticipation, and Pentecost has always been one of the feast days that I especially get excited about.  The spring of 2009 was an especially busy time for me personally, but even so I was still very much in tune with "watching" for His return.  It was a beautiful sun-filled day here on the coast.  I had told my daughter that I would help transport her boys to a scouting event down the coast.  About 10:00 in the morning I was driving over to her house.  En route I began to notice something for interesting and very much out of place.  I began to encounter people dressed in India clothing - there were probably 15 to 20 of them, and they were walking in groups of 2-3 and just meandering along.  There are many lovely places in our area to take a hike or walk, but this particular area where I encountered them was not one of them.  It was a two-lane road with narrow shoulders on either side.  Although it was not a main thorough fare, it did get a fair amount of traffic with local residents.  There was not a motel/hotel located nearby, nor did I see a tour bus.  As I drove along, I began to encounter chipmunks running back and forth across the road - they were behaving oddly.  Normally you can encounter an occasional chipmunk to dart out, but this day it was really unusual the number of them that were behaving oddly.

I did pick up the boys and as we headed back down the road, the people from India were still walking and my grandsons commented that it was interesting seeing them.  Also, that the chipmunks had been acting oddly when they had gone into town earlier.  In retrospect, I think the people dressed in India clothing was significant because it stood out as an unusual and "out of place" and thus it really caught my attention.

That evening I met my sister and her four grandsons and my daughter and youngest grandson at the local McDonalds.  My sister and daughter were busy getting the kids settled and ordering their food and I was gazing out the window at Coast Highway 101.  I saw four individuals (I believe two men and two women) just meandering down the sidewalk dressed in clothing not of this era - they looked very much out of place, and again their behavior was different, not walking like they were hiking, but just sort of meandering.

I finished up the day and retired about 10.  At two AM I was awakened suddenly.  I had the strong impression of the Lord speaking to me.  He said:  "What you saw today was very significant.  The Rapture is not going to occur as you have been taught."  Then he gave me two scripture verses.  The first one was 1 Thes, "The dead in Christ will rise first.  THEN, those of us who "ALIVE AND REMAIN" will be caught up.  The Lord seemed to place emphasis on the "THEN".  I had the strong impression that it was not necessarily a simultaneous event.  The other scripture He gave me was in reference to after Our Lord died on the cross, saints of old were seen walking in the Jerusalem.

I have pondered the events of Pentecost 2009.  This is where my personal interpretation comes in:  I feel that the Rapture of the Church began on that day with the "Dead in Christ" rising, and at some point (and soon - PreWrath), those of us who are "Alive and Remain" will be taken to meet the Lord in the air.  I don't really have a strong feeling as to the timing of our departure to meet the Lord and the other saints, but I do know that it will be In His Time and that it could happen at any moment - I live each day with that on my mind.

Thanks for sharing Jason, and I do believe what you heard was very pertinent.

God's Blessings,

Jeanne
