2 Thessalonians 2:1-

"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and OUR BEING GATHERED (raptured) TO HIM.......for THAT DAY (day of rapture) WILL NOT COME UNTIL......  THE MAN OF LAWLESSNESS IS REVEALED...."

 

Matthew 24:15 & 24

"So when you see standing in the holy place the abomination that causes desolation (now the anti-Christ is revealed so the rapture may happen at the proper time)......For then there will be great tribulation..." (the great tribulation begins)

 

2 Thessalonians 2:6

"And now you know what is holding him back so that he may be revealed at the proper time (forty-two months before the Second Coming). ....the one who now holds it back will continue to do so (for ten days of shortened tribulation) until He is taken out of the way (when the tribulation is cut-short by the rapture)....and then the lawless one will be revealed."

 

SO HERE IS WHAT HAPPENS:

 

The day of our rapture will not come until the anti-Christ is revealed in the temple which is the event that begins the great tribulation. But the Holy Spirit continues to hold the anti-Christ back from achieving his full power until after the first ten days of the great tribulation which is the proper time  for him to be released/revealed when the tribulation is cut-short by the rapture. forty-two months before the Second Coming of the Lord..

 

SUMMARY:

 

The anti-Christ's identity is first revealed in the temple which begins the great tribulation, but then his full power and authority is  revealed ten days later, after being held back by the Holy Spirit for ten days until his proper time which is forty-two months before the Second Coming of the Lord. That will be the day of our rapture which is the day the shortened tribulation is cut-short by the rapture for the sake of the Church, and the day the anti-Christ begins his forty-two month reign.
