Dear Doves,

 

When you understand that the rapture is a 'pre-wrath' of God event that happens shortly AFTER the shortened great tribulation begins, then you have the frame of reference you need to understand the following two Scriptures:

 

2 Thessalonians 2:2-

"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him, we ask you, brothers. not to become easily unsettled....Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, FOR THAT DAY WILL NOT COME UNTIL ......the man of lawlessness IS REVEALED,......"

 

Matthew 24:29-30

"Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days......At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear......and they will gather His elect..."

 

 

Therefore, these Scriptures tell us that BEFORE we are raptured WE WILL KNOW THE IDENTITY OF THE ANTI-CHRIST, and that the rapture happens IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SHORTENED TRIBULATION, but BEFORE the wrath of God begins.There will be no rapture UNTIL the true identity of the anti-Christ is revealed to the Church.
