Dear Doves,

 

In (2 Thessalonians 2:6) we find the phrase "his own time". This is referring to the anti-Christ's "own time". So, when is the "time" that he "owns"?  The answer is found in (Revelation 13:2 & 5) "The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority....and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months." Therefore, "his own time" is the last forty-months before the Second Coming of the Lord.

 

That is important because:

 

2 Thessalonians 2:6

"And now you know what is restraining , that he may be revealed in HIS OWN TIME......He who now restrains will do so UNTIL HE IS TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY."

 

That is the key ! The "restrainer" (ie. the Church) "is taken out of the way" (ie. by the rapture) so that in "his own time" (ie. the last 42 months) he "may be revealed".

 

These Scriptures tell us that the rapture happens to reveal the anti-Christ "in his own time" which is "forty-two months" before the Second Coming of the Lord.
