"WHAT A 'HUGE CONTRAST' THERE IS BETWEEN THE FULFILLMENTS OF THESE TWO PROPHECIES......."

Dear Doves,

Jesus rode into Jerusalem that day, the fourth day before Passover on the 11th of Nisan, on the colt of a donkey. The word "lowly" used here means 'unexaulted'.

Matthew 21:4 (NKJV)
"All this was done THAT IT MIGHT BE FULFILLED WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET, saying: Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey. a colt, the foal of a donkey."

Now, compare that fulfillment of prophecy to the next fulfillment of prophecy when Jesus comes for His Church:

Matthew 24:29-31 (NKJV)
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. THEN the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

To illustrate the contrast of the two prophecies; the fulfillment of this prophecy may also be appointed to happen on the same day, the 11th of Nisan which is the fourth day before Passover, in a near future year.

Come Lord Jesus!
