Dear Doves,

 

In all three of the Books of Matthew, Mark and Luke the 'sequence of end-time events' are exactly the same from the Olivet Discourse through the Parable of the Fig Tree.

 

#1  The great tribulation begins: "So when you see standing in the holy place the abomination that causes desolation.......For then there will be great tribulation"

 

#2  The rapture occurs: "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days.....At that time the sign of the Son of man will appear"

 

#3  The lesson of the Fig Tree: "Now learn this lesson from the Fig Tree......when you see ALL these things you know that it is near"

 

The 'first thing' we will see in the sequence of events is the great tribulation begin.
