"An impressive Robert Bellanger...."

Hi Robert.....Wowee!!  You have me intellectually beat by a hundred miles, I believe!  My intelligence and "maturity", if I have it, comes down to basic simplicities.  One is that if it doesn't make sense, instead of analyzing it, I tend to ignore it.  I guess that comes from trying to raise 3 kids, going through a divorce, and trying to finish nursing school.

I break everything down to the simplest manner possible, and then things don't seem too difficult most of the time.  When I was young, I thought I knew everything better than anyone else.  It wasn't until life smacked me around a few thousand times that I learned differently.  The more I learned, the more I understand that I really know very little.  The most important question any of us can ever ask is "why"....if something doesn't make sense, why doesn't it?  For me, it's that simple.

That Hegelian Dialectic bit had me stum! ped for a long time until I realized what it was a few years back......it's what the government does all the time.  It's called "create a crisis" to accomplish a goal.  Thesis (create a problem), Antithesis (create an alternate problem/solution), Synthesis (this is the intended results of creating the two crises).  It's like the "Christmas bomber" or the "underwear bomber" on the airline.  He was put on the plane so he could cause a problem(having a bomb in an "unmentionable" area).  Of course this was an outrage and people demanded the government do something!!!   And because of this contrived situation, we now have the TSA being legally able to fondle our private parts at the airports.  People would rather trade freedom for safety...but they don't realize they have lost both as was accomplished by this Hegelian Dialectical trick.

Thanks for reminding me of a lot of things I had forgotten....it's nice to know there are real in! tellectuals among us.  We truly have an awesome bunch at the 5 Doves site.....and every day I fall more in love with all of you.  It's such a treasure to not feel alone any more.  You'd have to have walked a mile or two with me to understand.....and I'm very grateful...

YsiC,

Arlene
