I saw something in the words "And those of us who alive and remain " could mean that after the dead are risen something terrible happens and there are many more that die before the rapture happens.  I have heard Elvi Zapata say that there will be 3 tsunamis and a huge earthquake before the rapture happens, this could happen in that time period after the dead in Christ are risen.  However I am a bit dubious about this because I always thought they would happen almost contemporaneously.   Andrea
