Hi Mary Anna,"Amy VanGerpen (20 Feb 2012) "RE: Sunless Heaven""
Just because the sun won't emit light and the light won't be needed, doesn't mean there wont' be one. The moon doesn't emit light either, but like the sun, has been given eternal ordinances by God:
Jeremiah 31:35-36 Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name): " If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the LORD, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever."Be careful not to read something into Scripture that isn't there and in the process negate other Scripture. No where do the Scriptures tell us that the sun will cease to exist, rather they will last as long as the nation of Israel is a nation before God: Forever!
Maranatha!
