Will Some Christians Not Be
Taken In The Rapture? (With Don Stewart) - 3 &1/3
minutes.
Don
Stewart's Book (with 50 references to the word partial):
Dear
Luis & Doves,
Thank
you for responding to my criticism of your "Rapture as
Reward" theory. I'm trying to stay focused so as not to
create too many rabbit trails. While searching the internet
I was totally surprised at how many hold this concept. As a
Mid-Acts Dispensationalist, I was criticizing your theory
from that Biblical approach. I know I hold a minority
position with that approach but that is what works for me.
Without that approach, it is extremely hard to disprove your
theory. I did come up with some resources (posted above)
that are also critical of the Partial Rapture theory with or
without the OSAS component. While I feel quite secure in
both my Salvation & Rapture readiness, I feel compassion
for those who stumble over these types of postings and I
wanted to provide an alternative to a theory I consider
invalid. Besides your documentation there is also a wealth
of information on the internet that supports your theory as
well as other Christian denominations &
non-denominations that consider Mid-Acts Dispensationalism
as heresy. I do remain unmoved however because one of the
mantras from my generation growing up in the 1950s & 60s
was to "Question Authority".
One
Rabbit Trail I would like mention however is that if someone
finds themself left behind it could very well be that they
weren't saved in the first place, which opens up another
controversy as to the Saving Gospel for today vis-a-vis the
saving Gospel during the Tribulation. This was another topic
where the internet provides a multiplicity of "Salvation
Formulas".
Hope
to see all the Doves soon in our heavenly home.
Blessings,
Mike
