WHERE THE TABERNACLE AND THE ARK OF THE COVENANT WERE MADE

The following study is to highlight some excerpts from a presentation given by Jim from Ron Wyatt Official, The Stones Cry Out organization, posted on July 15, 2023. It is about how Jim and his colleagues visited Mount Sinai in Arabia in 2022. They provide an experience where they came across new evidence that they assert found the very site where Bezalel and his workers made the items for the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant.

Surely, the topic of the real Mount Sinai location, the Tablets of Stone, the Tabernacle of Moses and the Ark of the Covenant are the stuff of Biblical lore to many people and blockbuster Hollywood movies to others. The presentation starts out with the general layout of the Mount Sinai complex and pointing-out the various coordinates and locales.

Then the presentation focuses on the area where it is believed the entire encampment was situated. And in the flanks of that encampment, there are clear pieces of evidence that lend credence to how the molds and the fashioning of the Cherubim Wings, for example, were made against certain rocks identified. But why one has provided a paraphrase of the presentation points is to stress that one is convinced it is all true.

Jim had some good news to share. Something really exciting, something truly amazing. He was going to show things that had not been seen for over 3,400 years and even longer. Ron Wyatt had made some remarkable discoveries, and according to Jim, Jehovah had miraculously led him to the real Mount Sinai. They found amazing things there and elsewhere, but the discoveries had not stopped, amazingly enough, based on this presentation.

For anyone who did not know, the real Mount Sinai is in Saudi Arabia. It is in the northwest corner of Saudi Arabia, at the top of the Red Sea at the Gulf of Aqaba. That was the sea crossing that Ron found. As Ron followed the route of the Exodus, they came across the oasis and the campsite by the sea and the rock that had been split. And that was an amazing sight. The Children of Israel had traveled down along the eastern side of Mount Sinai. The mountain had been burned with fire, and it remains burned at its top to this very day.

Jim stated that he had climbed about 100 to 200 feet up the mountain, and from there he could look east and see many of the things that Ron had found. Farther out beyond the ridge was the huge Campsite and the Wadi. The plains of the Campsite stretched many miles across and many miles long. It was plenty of room for 3 million people to camp. Then, as one circled around, there was the Golden Calf altar site and some petroglyphs that had been found, as well.

Then there was the altar of Moses. That little ‘V’ shape is still there. So were the evidence of the brook bed and the lake that had existed. It is all still there after 3,400-plus years. This was the Campsite. They had gone a couple of miles to the east to explore. This was where the Children of Israel had camped. They explored the plain, driving around, looking at something new that had been found just a couple of months earlier. One of those new discoveries was a petroglyph.

They started driving back from the Campsite westward toward Mount Sinai when everything changed. Here is a bit of the backstory. In Exodus 25, after Jehovah had spoken the Ten Commandments, the Children of Israel could no longer bear to hear the voice of Jehovah . They were too scared. They backed away and told Moses, ‘You listen to Him for us’. Moses went up the mountain, and Jehovah spoke to Moses.

They took the Stone Covenant. They agreed to it. The Covenant was consecrated. Then the Elders, Moses, and Aaron went up and had the meal at the Plateau. Then Moses went up alone to the mountaintop thereafter. The first thing recorded that the Almighty spoke to Moses was: ‘Make Me a Sanctuary’. This was the very first instruction recorded from that conversation.

‘And He spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Speak to the Children of Israel, take the First Fruits of all who are disposed in their hearts, who are willing to give, and you shall take My First Fruits. This is the Offering you shall take of them: Gold, Silver, and Brass. Collect all the metals that they are willing to give, and you shall make Me a Sanctuary, and I will appear among you. Make it according to all the things which I show you on the Mountain, even the pattern of the Tabernacle that is in Heaven. Make it exactly like I am showing you, Moses’.

That was an amazing prophecy. In it, the Messiah, the Savior can be discerned. And the Tabernacle was made. Jehovah called Bezaleel, saying, ‘I have filled him with a Divine Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge to invent in every work, to labor with Gold, Silver, all the Precious Metals, and Stone’. And so the construction of the Tabernacle of Witness, the Tabernacle of Moses was done according to what Moses had been told.

Then they were driving back toward Mount Sinai when one of the men in the car pointed and said, ‘What is that?’ They looked and saw something different, something that did not look like just a pile of rocks. They went over and realized this was the site they had seen from the plane. It was the Metalworks area that had been set-up before Mount Sinai for the construction of the Tabernacle of Moses and for fashioning the wings of the Cherubim and the Ark of the Covenant. This was their first glimpse of it, recorded on December 15, 2022.

Some might wonder, to include scoffers especially, how anyone could know that the Tabernacle and the Ark had been constructed right there in front of Mount Sinai. They might say it could have been anywhere. But Scripture pointed clearly to the truth. It said that Israel was at Mount Sinai celebrating Passover in the 1st month of the 2nd year, and the Tabernacle had been set-up to celebrate that Passover, as recorded in Exodus 40.

Then in Numbers 10, it stated when the Israelites left Mount Sinai, when they departed from the Campsite and began the 40 years of wandering in the Wilderness before reaching the Promised Land. This departure occurred in the 2nd month of the 2nd year. So, the Tabernacle had been set-up for a couple of months before they tore it down and began traveling, etc. The Scriptures always point to the truth. The Sanctuary or the Tabernacle of Moses was larger than many imagined. It was 100 cubits by 50 cubits, or roughly 171 feet by 85 feet. Think of a football field with its sidelines and end zones, cut into quarters.

That was approximately the size of the Tabernacle. Very large. Bezalel and his men had much to manufacture: many pillars, sockets, pins, hooks, sides for the Tabernacle. So, they walked up to the rock pile wondering whether it was hollow, or an old grave site, or a hiding place where someone hunted animals. But as they went closer and saw more, they realized it was not a hunting lair or a grave site.

It was a furnace about 15 feet in diameter, roughly five feet tall. It was hollow on the inside, with precisely laid stones designed to regulate oxygen. To melt Gold and Silver, one cannot rely on an ordinary fire. The temperature must reach about 1,948 degrees for Gold. Achieving that requires regulating the heating environment so the fire remains constant, etc. This structure was perfectly designed to do that. Inside, he saw what looked like ash at the bottom: gray, almost sandy, very fine.

The surrounding area was rocky, but the campsite was sandy, pure sand. On the plateau, however, the ground felt like concrete, solid rock. One would not expect to find something so gray and light there. He wanted to reach in and grab a handful, but the furnace was so tall and the stones fragile. If he tried, he might have fallen in, and rocks could fall on top of him. He decided that it would have to wait for another trip.

They took close-up pictures of the furnace. The rocks were precisely cut and precisely laid. Bezalel and his men clearly knew what they were doing. The furnace was completely hollow from one side to the other. And it was not the only furnace. There were at least 4 or 5 others, built for different purposes. They had much melting to do, so they needed multiple furnaces of different sizes for metals, ceramics, and more.

Then as they walked around, one of the men called out, ‘Come here, look at this!’ Look what I found?’ They realized it was a stone form used in antiquity to pour gold into molds for whatever they needed. It could have been used to produce pillars, rings, pins, clips, sockets, and decorative items like pomegranates. They were shocked and amazed. Looking west, they could see Mount Sinai. They were building the sanctuary in Jehovah’s sight.

They were continually working before Jehovah while they made and raised the Tabernacle just as Scripture described. Viewed from different angles, under the sunlight and shadows, they could see semicircles, precise cuts that were not naturally made. This was how these things were made. The Israelites were far more intelligent and skilled than modern assumptions give them credit for. They were wise beyond today’s standards. The forms on the rocks were close to the furnaces, about 20 to 25 feet away, the perfect distance. Why?

Molten Gold cools quickly. So, one cannot be too far from the furnace. But one also does not want to be too close to the intense heat. The placement made perfect sense. They sat for a while, awestruck. There were stones formed as ‘natural seats’, comfortable ones. They imagined the ancient Metalworkers sitting there, waiting for the molds to cool before removing the items. Scoffers might still argue, ‘This is a Metalworks area, sure, but it could belong to another ancient people.

Why link it to the Children of Israel, right in front of Mount Sinai, during the Exodus?’ So, such people need something specific, something showing the ‘Fingerprint of Scripture’ upon it. Consider that Moses had been commanded to make the Ark of the Covenant, with 2 Cherubs of beaten Gold placed on either side of the Mercy Seat. The Cherubs’ Wings were to stretch forth above, overshadowing the Mercy Seat. Their faces turned toward each other and downward.

This representation matched Ron’s description, The Wings were above and behind the Mercy Seat, not touching in the center as depicted in film adaptations like Raiders of the Lost Ark. This was Jehovah’s Throne on Earth, the Mercy Seat. This is where the Blood of the Atonement Sacrifice was sprinkled yearly. Then they found the next stone form, again close to a furnace. His colleague Bob called out, ‘Come here, look at this, this is interesting’.

As soon as he saw it, he went numb. His jaw dropped. His mind exploded with shock. He said something he could barely remember, but the meaning was clear. they had just found something extraordinary. He remembered the Scripture about the glory overshadowing the Mercy Seat. It is something the Apostle Paul said he could not speak of in detail. But now, in these times, these men could speak of it. Ron Wyatt was shown the Ark of the Covenant, its placement, and its purpose. As Jim walked up to that 2nd form made on the rocks, he realized this was where they had poured and formed the Wings of the Cherubim of the Ark of the Covenant.

The stone form was designed not for direct pouring but for hammered work. They would pour gold into a rectangular container, letting it cool slightly. It is like a Blacksmith shaping a sword and then placing the hot sheet of metal over the stone mold. They would hammer it slowly and precisely until it took the exact shape of the Cherub Wing. No reasonable person could say this Metalworks area was anything other than the construction site for the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, and all its furnishings.

A closer view showed the Wing Mold tapering downward at an angle. The surface was weathered; rain, wind, and sun had worn it but faint feather lines were still visible. The lines curved and aligned perfectly. This was a Wing in their interpretation. The attachment point, where it would connect to the Cherub’s body, was also visible. This was recorded and took place on December 15, 2022, around 3 p.m., a moment he would never forget. Someone might still ask, ‘How do you know? What about the size?’

But Scripture and Ron’s eyewitness accounts provided enough information to calculate the approximate length of the Cherubim Wings. Using the Pythagorean Theorem and the measurements given in Exodus 25:9, of 2.5 cubits (20.62 inches per cubit), the Ark’s length was about 59 inches. Half of that, with overlap and extension for the wing bases, yielded roughly 36 inches for each Wing or about 3 feet, give or take an inch. Jim’s colleague Bob placed his boot beside the mold. It confirmed that the Cherub Wings were 3 boot lengths. They matched the measurement exactly. Here is an astonishing depiction based on the number ‘33’ and the number 72.

If 1 Cherub Wing was 3 feet, and the other Cherub Wing was 3 feet, the chiastic would render a ‘33’ coefficient. And if one then adds 36 inches of each Cherub Wing, then the sum will be 72 inches. If one knows Biblical Numbers, one will quickly recognize the prophetic associations of 33. For example, that was the age Jesus died. Then the number 72 is linked to time, the Elders of Zion, the number of Apostles sent out to witness, the number of Nations, etc.

The site matched Scripture. Everything aligned. These were things revealed in the last days to awaken people. This was Jehovah’s final evidence that Scripture is true. His Remnant must take this word out and share it with anyone who will listen, so all who are called may come to salvation. Going deeper, speaking to the Remnant, all Jehovah Commandments have deeper spiritual meaning. He said, ‘Make Me a Sanctuary’. The Pharisees asked the Savior for a Sign, and He answered, ‘Destroy this Temple, and I will raise it in 3 days’. Paul said, ‘Do you not know that you are the Temple that the Spirit of the Almighty lives in you?’ They, the Israelites were His Sanctuary.

He had called them to build Jehovah a Sanctuary to be set apart, righteous, clean, something He loved because they loved Him. Isaiah 49 says, ‘Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me’. He called them His walls like being part of His Tabernacle. He remembered them, just as the Tabernacle was placed before His sight at Mount Sinai. He would sit and purify Israel as Silver or Gold, refining the Sons of Levi, etc.

Daniel prophesied that many would be tested, whitened, tried by fire, and sanctified in these times of tribulation. ‘The transgressors of the world would not understand and would continue in their own ways, but the wise would understand’. This was their time. They were not to think it strange concerning fiery trials. Strange and evil things were happening in the world, but they were to understand why.

They were to rejoice in being partakers of the Savior’s sufferings, taking up their Cross daily and walking the narrow way. Jehovah never promised an easy path, only salvation at its end. His glory will soon be revealed. It will be the Sign of the Son of Man that the whole world will see. The Trumpet will sound, and the world will flee in fear except for His Remnant, the Called, the Chosen. They will rejoice when His glory appears and His Angels gather them from the 4 Corners of the Earth.

Their corruptible bodies would become incorruptible at that moment of the revealing, and they would be filled with exceeding joy. This time is coming soon. He said at the end of the Book of Revelation, ‘Surely I come quickly’. The Psalms declared, ‘Let Your works be my hands; let my mouth speak Your words; Your Works are righteous and truth, and Your Commandments are true’. After the pattern was shown from Heaven, as in Exodus 25, the Israelites were to build the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant.

It was so Jehovah’s People can be purified to become righteous unto Him, not by their own righteousness but through His. He was and still is the ‘Door’ they walked through at that time and place. Their faith, belief, and testimony guided them as they followed Him throughout their Wilderness Journey. The Israelites honored Jehovah because they loved Him. Thus, the Sanctuary and the Ark built in front of Mount Sinai still holds meaning today. It is because they themselves were the Sanctuary and Jehovah sat upon the Ark, being built and purifying even now, to be lifted-up in the coming years.

These spectacular finds appear to confirm Ron Wyatt's description of the Ark of the Covenant and even where it was made. If indeed Jim and his colleagues made the discovery of where and how they believe Bezaleel and Oholiab fashioned the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant, then it is spectacular. So, in summary, this has been a detail of an expedition’s assertion led by Jim, associated with Ron Wyatt’s Ministry.

Thy claim that they located the true Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia, building upon the claims of Ron Wyatt's previous discoveries. This 2022 team claimed to have found the specific metallurgy site where Bezalel and his workers manufactured the materials for the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant. The physical evidence cited includes large, expertly crafted furnaces designed for melting Gold and multiple Stone Molds used for shaping various components.

Most strikingly, the expedition reported discovering a Mold that perfectly matched the calculated measurements for the Cherubim Wings of the Ark of the Covenant. These artifacts are presented as definitive proof that the construction happened precisely where described in the Book of Exodus, thereby confirming the literal truth of the Biblical accounts and dimensions.

These spectacular finds possibly attest to Jehovah's final evidence intended to wake-up Israel, the Church and the World of what is coming next. At the core or epicenter of the End Times will be how Jehovah will deal with the issues of a rebellious Israel, i.e., the 70thh Year of Daniel known as the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. And that as one interprets the End Times, the very Ark of the Covenant will be revealed again and placed in the coming 3rd Temple after the Rapture Reset, etc.

And incredibly, 2 Men of Jehovah associated with Mount Sinai, Moses and Elijah will be the 2 Witnesses of the Book or Revelation. These are the very ones who worked in a time of ‘Signs and Wonders’ and will again in how each dealt directly with a ‘Pharaoh’ and an ‘Ahab’, i.e., the coming false Jewish Messiah known to some as the Biblical AntiChrist and then with the False Prophet.
