Long ago was the pagan
Roman holiday of excesses which was named the Saturnalia. It
was so popular that the initial one-day holiday was extended
a full week, from 12-17 to 23. It was the MOST POPULAR ROMAN
HOLIDAY for merrymaking and mischief on the ancient Roman
calendar. Would the Messiah of Israel have known about it
and its many excesses? Its spiritual dangers? YES! In
association with His Second Coming, He warned about
excessive eating (Gluttony) and Drunkenness (Dissipation).
These activities were behaviors during Saturnalia to beware
of and avoid doing from 12-17 through 12- 23.
According to the Torah
Calendar, Hanukkah Night 1 in 2025 (The Festival of Lights)
will be as Kislev 24 goes to 25 at sunsets. It will be on
12-16 ai sunsets, a few hours before Saturnalia would begin
at midnights beginning 12-17. The Midnight Hour, the
beginning of the Roman 3rd Watch of the Night. THE BEGINNING
DATES, for the Saturnalia and Hanukkah, ARE A MATCH in 2025!
In the Scriptures, the Midnight Hour is important. How
significant will Hanukkah Night 1 be for Israel in 2025? And
the World? We shall see...
