First I would like to know why you consider the “sudden destruction” a nuclear war?

I see you talked about a 30 and 45 days that could change the count of days.  I believe the Bible is absolute truth and would like point out something for you to consider.  Of the tribulation days Daniel shows that it is 7 years, yet Jesus  says if those days were not shortened no flesh would survive.  Both of these must be right, yet they refer to the tribulation days.  I would like to point out when the end of Daiel’s 70 weeks will happen.  It says in Daniel 9:24 where it says: Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.  Here we see that "and to bring in everlasting righteousness” .  This can only happen after satan is cast into the lake of fire forever, then and only then can there can be “everlasting” righteousness.  So then the end of the tribulation must happen after satan has been released to deceive the nations at the end of the 1000 years.  Even though we know that the start of the seven year tribulation is before the 1000 year rein of Christ. So, what I am trying to say is the full seven years is the shortened days Jesus spoke of plus the days that satan has been released to deceive the nations.  Then we have a gap that separates the beginning and the end of the tribulation, just like the gap between 69 and 70th weeks.  Maybe this is throwing the date counts off.

Next I would like to give my thoughts on the “sudden destruction”.  Eze 38:19,20 Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.  Here we see a tremendous destruction at the presence of the Lord.  Could this destruction  be the result of the  resurrection of the dead?  the Bible says that when Jesus rose from the dead that there was a great earthquake.  When the dead are resurrected from all around the world, this would be a world wide earthquake.  I do not think that a nuclear war would be able to shake every person on the planet as described in eze38.  We know from the new testament that the Lord will call us up to meet Him in the air.  Just something to think about.
