Zechariah 14:12 states, "Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem (Armageddon); their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth." Pretty gruesome, but this is precisely what will happen at the conclusion of the upcoming 7 year Tribulation Period, just before the Second Coming of Israel's long-rejected Messiah, Who is Christ. Zechariah long ago could not possibly have known about the effects of a nuclear war, but he describes them perfectly! The first nuclear weapons were detonated over Japan in 1945, and just three years later in 1948 Israel became a nation, thus beginning these End Times in which we are living!
In 1959 my parents and I went to the Carmel, Indiana theater and saw the movie "On the Beach" starring Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner. I was fascinated by the movie and I know it had a part in my getting born again twenty years later in 1979. In late 1979 I began teaching end time Bible prophecy, and have taught various courses continuously since that time in both churches and home Bible studies. Here is the movie in its entirety. The acting is great in this movie, and if such a thing is possible about a nuclear war movie, enjoy!
It is 2024, and from the "parable of the fig tree" in Scripture, the "generation" to witness Israel's return as a nation will witness all end time events coming to pass! I believe the Rapture is now drawing very near, and then the terrifying 7 year Tribulation Period!

P.P.S. You really don't want to be on earth after the upcoming Rapture! The Tribulation will indeed be terrifying! To get your "ticket" to the Rapture if you do not already have it, just ask Jesus (Israel's Messiah) into your heart today to be your Lord and Savior! Then get out a Bible and start reading the New Testament! The rewards are truly out of this world, not to mention also eternal life!
