(I have often wondered what the scientific community, academia, and the media, would do.If, towards the latter part of the tribulation, the signs in the sun, moon, and stars, involve inexplicable events?Like the sun and moon moving in opposite directions?Or actual stars falling to the earth, e.g. the big dipper, instead of being giant gas balls trillions of mile away?)
Luke 21:25a And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;
(These tribulation signs sound to be more than naturally occurring solar eclipses, blood moons, etc.Regarding stars coming down to the earth, why do so many insist that it can only mean meteors or asteroids, and absolutely not stars?)
Revelation 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
(It's likened to shaking a fig tree, causing them to fall, but will not the heavens themselves be shaken?)
Hebrews 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
(Yet the very next line in Revelation 6, mentions the heaven departing, departing as a scroll when it is rolled together.)
Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
(Will that happen to everything above the earth, or will it possibly only be localized, like directly over Jerusalem?Also, will that be the same time when the stars fall down?Will the heaven remain open like that, allowing view into the third heaven?Will the heaven remain open like that, all the way up until Jesus returns?)
(Also, others say, that instead of being actual stars, that they must be angels.One of the proof texts is the following:)
Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
(However, in this line, why can't they be two different things? With one of the things Jesus is referring to are the seven angels of the seven churches.But in the first part, he says that John saw the stars in Jesus' hand.I don't think it means that he is also holding the seven angels in his hand - are they that small? - like the old catholic debate, how many can fit on the head of a pin?Also, I don't think that he is holding 7 fiery gas giant suns while they are simultaneously "trillions of miles away".So, either, here, they are actually yet a third thing, unmentioned heretofore, or Jesus can easily use stars as he sees fit?i.e. placed in the heaven, or held in his hand, or falling from the heaven to the earth?)
(What could scientists, universities, and the media say when these things happen, as it will defy what they have believed and taught about it?)
