(At the conclusion of the battle of Gog of Magog, many nations will know that it was the LORD that defeated those armies:)
Ezekiel 38:22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
(The Gentiles will know that it was the LORD, the God of Israel that defeated those armies, and delivered Israel. The LORD will make his name known in Israel, no longer the generic, "G-d", that they have been using instead of his name. And from that time forward, the LORD will no longer let the children of Israel pollute his holy name:)
Ezekiel 39:7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
(The LORD will also set his glory among the Gentiles, and from that point on, the Gentiles will know that he did this, and Israel will know that he is their God:)
Ezekiel 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
(So, how, then, would Israel, so soon after all that, make a covenant with death and hell, and go after the antichrist?)
Isaiah 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
John 5:43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
(When in the context of mentioning the covenant of death and hell, the LORD mentions a consumption upon the whole earth, placing that covenant at the time of the end:)
Isaiah 28:22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
(After the Gentiles & Israel know that it was the LORD that defeated Gog, and the LORD saying he would not let them pollute his name anymore, how could this then happen?)
Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
II Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
(Could there possibly be the slimmest of chances that the battle of Gog of Magog is maybe a different view of the great battles going on at the time of the second advent?i.e. that it describes some of the other nations and others activities not mentioned in various other accounts of the battles at the time of the second advent?)
