Hello John and Doves,
"The nascent Sanhedrin
(rabbinic court) in Jerusalem has made an official ruling,
calling on Jews outside of Israel to come home." Their
message was sent out to Jews around the world in English,
Hebrew, Yiddish, French and Spanish.
"It is necessary now more
than ever to come to Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel)."
"...the Sanhedrin makes this
announcement every year, but this year, it is of special
significance and is gathering more attention than in the
past."
The Sanhedrin has to exist
when Jesus comes back at the Second Coming - He prophesied
that they, the Sanhedrin, would see Him 'coming on the
clouds of Heaven'. And now, the Sanhedrin are
calling for all Jews to come Home.
After the destruction of
the Second Temple in 70 AD, there have been several
attempts to revive the Sanhedrin. "The most recent
attempt occurred in 2004, when a group of seventy-one
rabbis claiming to represent varied communities in Israel
undertook a ceremony in Tiberias, where the original
Sanhedrin was disbanded. That group claimed to
re-establish the body, based on the proposal of Maimonides
and the Jewish rulings of Rabbi Yosef Karo. As of
June 2023, that effort is officially ongoing, supported
mainly by the Temple Institute...."

Jesus addressed the
Sanhedrin when He went before Caiaphas the high
priest: "But I say to all of you, from now on you
will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power
and coming on the clouds of Heaven."
Matthew 26:64
Jesus prophesied their
existence when He returns.
Interesting time to return
to Israel with Israel surrounded by enemies - with the
multifront wars going on with Hezbollah, the PA, Hamas,
Houthi, various Jihadi organizations along with Syria,
Persia, Turkey and other Muslim countries.
Is this call in 2024 an 'end
times' prophetic call for the Jewish people to return to
Israel? I believe as many Jewish people as possible
need to be in Israel for the Tribulation Period and at the
end when the Messiah arrives. This would be the Second
Coming of Jesus Christ.
Jesus was talking to the
Jewish people when He said, "O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to
her, how often I have longed to gather your children
together....but you were unwilling. Look, your house
is left to you desolate. For I tell you that
you will not see Me again until you say, 'Blessed is He
who comes in the name of the Lord." Matthew
23:37-39
This is the Second Coming -
"Behold He cometh with clouds, and every eye shall
see Him, and
they also which pierced Him: and
all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.
Even so, Amen." Revelation 1:7
Zechariah prophesied that
the Lord, when He goes out to fight against those nations
coming in battle against Jerusalem, that "On that day, His
feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem,
and the Mount of Olives will split in two from east to west,
forming a great valley with half the mountain moving to the
north and half to the south." The Lord tell His people
to flee from the earthquake. "The the Lord my God will
come and all the holy ones with Him" Zechariah 14:4 -
5.
"And on that day living
water will flow out of Jerusalem...On that day the Lord will
become King over all the earth - the Lord alone, and His
name alone." Zechariah 14: 8 - 9.
Just like Jerusalem today,
like Israel today, like the Jewish people today -
David in his Psalm 118
said, "All the nations surrounded me....They surrounded me
on every side...I was pushed so hard I was falling, but the
Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song,
and He has become my salvation....O Lord, save us, we
pray. We beseech You, O Lord, cause us to
prosper. Blessed is he who comes in the name
of the Lord." Psalm 118 The Lord
brought victory!
The Sanhedrin said
"right now do whatever is in your power, to come to Eretz
Yisrael (the land of Israel)..."
Are the Jewish people being
called back because we are approaching the End Times?
And they need to be in Israel and Jerusalem for the
Tribulation Period. There are prophecies for them
there that will be fulfilled. The two witnesses are
coming, the 144,000 will be called, etc.
Here the final prophecies
concerning the Holy people, the Holy city, and the land of
Israel will be fulfilled. The Jewish people need to be
in their Homeland.
They are being gathered
together in Israel...to see the return of their Messiah,
Jesus Christ, so they can proclaim, "Blessed is He who comes
in the name of the Lord" as He saves them from their
enemies.
Jesus told the Sanhedrin
that THEY will see Him coming on the clouds of Heaven.
They must be present and accounted for in Jerusalem for this
to happen.
Interesting timing for
this. Considering we are facing global nuclear war and
Israel is facing war on multiple fronts
Remember, it was the people
in Jerusalem who first shouted out, "Hosanna to the Son of
David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the
Lord; Hosanna in the highest." Matthew 21:9 When
Jesus, the Messiah, entered Jerusalem and then was
crucified.
We will have come full
circle. He came as a Lamb then, He will come come back
as a Lion soon.
