"What is with the billionaire giveaway of Bitcoin?!"


I have now seen Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and now Jeff Bezos making this bizarre offer of going to a specific website that they've set up and putting in a code and in return they are promised .29 Bitcoin = which is equivalent to $8k-9k. 

Elon Musk to me comes across as a relatively normal person so when he offered a similar amount about 2 weeks ago, I jumped on the opportunity because he seemed believable. I went to the website, put in the code he said, and received my $8,000 payout at least on screen. 

He claimed in his advertisement that you can just cash it out and enjoy the holidays or something to that effect. So I tried to cash it out and was not able to, huge surprise, because they needed something like a 10% deposit of that amount of money to be able to withdraw and of course I never follow through realizing this is a scam.

But why all of these same people? Are they compiling a list of the people who try? The offer is so similar amongst them that there's no way there's not some kind of reason behind it and collusion.
