"The 65 years in
Isaiah 7. Part 5."
John and Doves,
In Isaiah 7, God says that after 65 years, Ephraim shall be
broken, and no more be a people. Pekah did confederate with Syrian
King Rezin to invade Judah around 736 BC. Subtracting 65 years
from 736 BC, Ephraim was supposed to be broken in 671 BC. But
Israel was destroyed by Assyria in 722 BC, not 671 BC. Historians
find some inscription from Assyria archive, which points to a few
more deportation of Israelis from Ephraim years after 722 BC. But
they couldn't find the 65 years was fulfilled in 671 BC. For God
to give out a days or years prophecy, it has to be fulfilled
precisely according to the days and years. There are no biblical
and historical records that prove the last deportation of Ephraim
was in 671 BC. Also, God says he shall call the 12 tribes of
Israel back during tribulation per the 144000 in Revelation 7.
These lost tribes shall come back in the future. But in Isaiah 7,
God clearly says the people from Ephraim are no more be called
people. It means they face utter destruction and are forever lost
in human history. Only the Jordanians who occupied Ephraim during
the 6 days war can fit God's description. They confederate with
Damascus to invade Judah in 1967. Adding 65 years to 1967, Jesus
returns to Jerusalem in 2031 or 2032. Through the sheep and goat
judgment, these Jordanians are placed in Hades, waiting for the
Great White Throne judgment after the millennium is over. Hence,
it fulfills what God says about Ephraim / Jordanians are no longer
be a people.
A note here. There are many old testament prophecy in which God
abhors Edom, which is Jordan. It is because Edom persecutes his
brother Judah
in the past, present, and future. This nation shall be
forever lost after Jesus returns to Jerusalem.
