Response to: Steve Coerper (3 Dec 2023) | No, This is NOT Happening!God's prophetic time clock starts ticking whenever the Jews are in their homeland. Some may have started coming back as early as 1917 (or 1918), when General Allenby entered, conquering the muslims, thus ending 970 years of Muslim rule. Allenby had been instructed by the British Prime Minister, David Lloyd George, to deliver Jerusalem as a “Christmas present” for the Allies. This he did, making a low-key entrance and proclamation on 11 December, 1917.[General Allenby's entrance into Jerusalem, 12-11-1917]As you know, Jerusalem was declared the Jewish homeland in 1948, but 1917 was the official date of the Jews getting back their land and is often overlooked by those studying end times prophecy. December 11, 1917 is actually a significant day prophetically for eschatalogical timing purposes. It is important to note that as far as "true Jews" go, one is a Jew by religion - not by ethnicity. I am American of a 'Heinz 57 variety' ethnic background, which contains some Assyrian Jew. However, I am not considered Jewish because of my Christian faith. So it wouldn't matter if someone had a Turkish Khazar background, so long as they are Jewish by religion. During WWII under Hitler no doubt many Germans mistakenly thought they were achieving their vile objective of eliminating Jews just because of their ethnicity, not knowing they missed many true Jews because they were not of Jewish ethnicity.Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24 that this race of people will not end until all the things prophesied in that chapter are completed. Remember, the question was "what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" [Matt. 24:3/KJV] Jesus responded in Matthew 24:34 "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." In Hebrew the word used was not "generation" but rather "genre" for a race of people. In essence, Jesus was saying that the race of Jewish people will remain on Earth until the end of the world - not just the end of the age.You are correct that "the true Jews are now, as they have long been, an oppressed minority." Many Israeli rabbis are actually what we would call "completed Jews," who have Jesus as their messiah living in their hearts. They do their work for Jesus and have succeeded in developing a large, growing following. However, the orthodox Jews are vehemently against them, even persecuting them and trying to pass laws to prevent them from being missionaries to their own people.Jesus told someone here on 5 Doves many decades ago now, that the Rapture has to be before Rosh HaShanah because "after that it will all be (i.e., focus of world events) about the Jewish people." That's because the Rapture is a dividing line between the times of the Gentiles and that of the Jews.My dad, who had his Doctor of Divinity Degree majoring in Eschatology (study of the 'end times'), told me that during the Great Tribulation - in order to be "saved" - a person will have to convert to a form of Judaism; perhaps a "completed Jew" version since the Gentile 'Age of Grace' will have already ended. What a novel thought!Jesus stated in a 2010 prophetic word to Maurice Sklar, Christian world class violinist, "I’ve allowed some to choose whether they want to stay to be a part of the greatest revival and harvest of all of history or to go on before to My Wedding Supper." So, maybe not all completed Jews will get raptured.Jesus implies in the above prophetic word that the great harvest will occur during the Great Tribulation. This prophetic word is also a hint that the Bride of Christ will be removed prior to the great harvest that so many mistakenly think they will be here for. Who knows, we are already seeing a trickle of it occurring, but it isn't yet the great outpouring - greater than all others before it - that the end time harvest is prophesied to be.It is possible that some completed Jews will be left behind to help influence the 1/3rd Jewish "remnant" that eventually flees to the desert (possibly Petra) during the coming Great Tribulation. During the recent Gaza war there were videos of Jews fleeing into the desert to try to get away from Hamas. I recognized it as a prophetic prelude to what will occur in the very near future.
