"our hearts"

Is it possible that the only thing keeping any of us from being doctrinally deceived, or from keeping our hearts from turning against the Jews,
is really NOT our knowledge, NOT our "good" hearts, and NOT the sheer perseverance of our wills?
But that it is actually supernatural protection by the Spirit of God?
As far as doctrines, did we simply choose to not be heretics, because "we knew better"?
What about in the world at large?
How can so many conservatives align on their political persuasions and worldview?
How can so many progressives align on their political persuasions and worldview?
Are there possibly strong spiritual forces involved: principalities and powers?
Do all those progressives, or conservatives, think that they arrived at their worldview on their own, by their own intellect?
All those people reached so many similar conclusions simply on their own?
Isn't it possible that false doctrines come about the same way, guided by fallen celestial principalities and powers?
Also, is it possible that someone's heart toward the Jews is just as much directed by spiritual forces?
Either by the Spirit of the LORD, himself, or by the fallen celestial principalities and powers?
And this goes for me:

I Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

I Corinthians 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

I Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

As Adam's descendants, even if saved, we are still easily susceptible to spiritual influences that can turn hearts in a way that we would not want.
So, to constantly thank the LORD for keeping our hearts, and to always ask him to continue doing so, could that be a good and wise thing to do?
