I have long been wondering when Israel's leadership would stop pandering to world opinion. It had gotten to a point where the Jewish people all but apologised simply for existing. They have always been held to different standards than the rest of the world. For example - have you ever heard the Biden crowd call for Ukraine/Russia to 'minimise civilian casualties' in their efforts to defeat each other?? Of course not! What a ridiculous statement to make in the first place. It has never been a statement made in any other war - ever! If you present yourself as some grovelling individual, unworthy of respect - that is how others will treat you. "Grow a spine", is what most would think.
BUT - given the history of Israel - the Jewish people - the dramas, the horrors, the sheer nightmare of it all ..... it's understandable. No other nation or culture has been meticulously judged, followed, their movements diarised, throughout our ENTIRE HISTORY as Israel and her people have. The entire Bible - Old and New Testament - are all about the Jewish people and the Holy Land. We gentiles only got invited in AFTER the death of our LORD Jesus. Our LORD Jesus is Jewish, born in Israel. He came to redeem the Jewish people first and foremost. And, they will be redeemed - but it's been a fraught 1,953 years thus far (counting from 70 AD).
Given all the putrid hatred and bias the Jewish people have suffered throughout history, it's understandable why their collective self-esteem is low. But this comes from not knowing who you are. How special you are. How deeply loved you are. Because all you have ever heard is what a 'dirty Jew' you are. It's difficult not to develop a complex, you understand. Almighty God has blinded them, in part. For OUR sake. It's now abundantly clear that we believers in Christ must be removed before Almighty God's attention can focus entirely on Israel and the Jewish people.
I honestly believe that as the Bible believing Christian world have had Bible truth unveiled to us, this has lessened the burden upon Israel and the Jewish people. As it is said - a butterfly flapping it's wings on one side of the world, can precipitate a tsunami on the other side of the world. As more believers eyes are opened to the truth, therefore engendering massive prayer for Israel and her people - the stronger Israel becomes. Not her political leadership - her people! Like us, the Jewish people have lost their naivety and trust in the political elite. They have never been more open to the truth, yet have never been so vulnerable.
We live in a precarious, yet very special time. As it's said - 'Strength lies in numbers'. Let us all pray hard for Israel and the Jewish people. They need our support and prayer. Without them, we would be nothing. Almighty God is the Husband of Israel. His Son, our LORD Jesus, is born of Israel. We are the future Bride of Christ. Israel and the Jewish people are Almighty God's wife.
