The National Christmas Tress outside the White House was toppled by high winds last Tuesday.   It's "part of one of the biggest holiday displays at the White House in years."

 

There are 98 Christmas trees in the White House holiday decorations December 2023 - "with nearly 34,000 ornaments and 142,000 lights, making it one of the biggest Christmas displays in years."  Jill Biden is in charge of this years "Magic, Wonder, and Joy" Christmas theme.

This could be just a freak gust of wind - an accident - however, what caught my attention was the last time this happened was in 2011 - "The 2011 White House tree also collapsed in a severe wind storm that cut power and sparked more than a dozen fires."

 

Guess who was president then?  Obama.
