I have a question, in addition to things playing out as you showed, is there another possibility how the same scriptures play out?

i.e. John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah:

Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Elijah prophesied to come before the day of the LORD:

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Jesus said, in line 12, below, that there was fulfillment of this, already, with John the Baptist.

But, in line 12, right before that, Jesus said that "Elias truly shall first come", and he said that after John the Baptist's ministry was finished, and he was dead:

Matthew 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

  12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

How can Elijah still be yet to come, but also fulfilled by John the Baptist?

Matthew 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

If they would have received it - but they didn't receive Jesus when he first came, and they also did not receive John the Baptist as fulfilling the spirit and power of Elijah.

In a similar way that there had to be Elijah fulfilled at the first advent of Jesus, there also had to be the son of perdition at the first advent - Judas.

But since Jesus was not received at his first advent, by Israel, he will come again, and then his kingdom will be established.

At that time, Elijah shall first come, as Malachi said.

Also, the enemy, in the person of the son of perdition, will fully oppose Jesus, this time as the antichrist.

If Israel would have received Jesus, John the Baptist would have fulfilled the coming of Elijah, and Judas would have fulfilled the coming of the antichrist.

But Israel did not receive Jesus, so these things were partially fulfilled, and prefigure, then, what is still yet to come.

So, like John the Baptist prefigured the coming of Elijah. could Judas also have prefigured the coming antichrist?
