Reading the details in the article, I was struck how this all seems to be a sort of countdown. Netanyahu has until Sunday December 11th to announce his agreed coalition. As of today - Thursday December 8th - a coalition has not been agreed. Apparently, they can ask for a 2 week extension. Hmmm. 7 days from December 11th is the first day of Hannukah (December 18th). Another 7 days from that is December 25th. This is the 8th day of Hanukkah AND Christmas Day! How about that? It really does appear to be a test of sorts. A definite countdown.
