I don't think "falling away"is
Satan or Lucifer falling from heaven.
Sorry I didn't make that clear in my 11/21
post
IS THE "FALLING AWAY" SATAN
BEING CAST DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH?
(fivedoves.com)
Some people believe that the
"falling away" doesn't refer to a departure or
falling away from the faith but refers to a
departure to heaven which is the blessed hope
of the rapture. However, let's look at
the wording in 2 Thess. 2:1-4, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the
day of
Christ is
at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day
shall not come, except there
come a
falling away first, and that
man of
sin be
revealed, the
son of
perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that
is called God, or that
is worshipped; so that
he as God sitteth in the
temple of
God, shewing himself that he is God."
Our gathering together unto Jesus is the day of
the rapture which in my opinion is the day of
Christ. For that day (of Christ or day of the
rapture) shall not come, except there come a
falling away first. How can there be a departure
to heaven
first before the day of
Christ if the departure to heaven is the day of
the rapture and the day of Christ? It
makes no sense to me. How do you explain
it?
