The Russian troop buildup and movement of medical supplies/units to the Ukraine border is indeed troubling.

 

And with Nato's Stotlenberg rejecting Russian demands to rescind a NATO commitment to Ukraine about Ukraine one day becoming a NATO member....this is not sitting well with Russia.  This is what Putin wants - a legal guaranteed from NATO.

 

Russia may have moved their S-400 missile system to the Ukrainian border.  Probably the world's most advanced anti-aircraft system to date.

 

Ukraine is preparing for a Russian invasion.  Even though Putin keeps saying Russia will not invade Ukraine.

 

"A senior Ukrainian military adviser floated the idea of handing over the country's own weapons to its citizens in the event of a Russian invasion, The New York Times reported."  This is just in case "the Ukrainian military were to be defeated."

Biden and Putin had a two hour virtual talk this last Tuesday...we were told the talk was mostly about the Russian military build-up on the Ukrainian borders.

 

Putin wants guarantees of no further NATO expansion east towards Russia.  NATO is refusing to give those guarantees.  Meanwhile, NATO is saying Russia wants to attempt to conquer more Ukrainian territory.

If Putin/Russia is waiting for Xi/China to get their ducks in a row for taking Taiwan...the world might soon have a two-front war.  And who knows if Iran might take advantage of the U.S. caught in the middle between two wars.  And rumors going around that Israel has issued a directive on preparations for a war against Iran.

 

The IDF is conducting a 'surprise' readiness exercise (for the whole country) with "movement of forces, transportation of weapons and heavy military equipment will be noted throughout the country.  The drill will also be attended by thousands of reservists who will be called to their units."

Amir is reporting that Defense Minister Gantz received a green light from the U.S. for preparation for attack on Iran.  Seems the negotiations with Iran are at the final stage and everyone is bracing for collapse of the talks...
