Your post (linked below) is bang on the money. I have always believed that the sin against the Holy Spirit (that cannot be forgiven) is when one has knowledge of the Holy Spirit but wilfully....knowingly...acts against it.
For example - we (you and I) have the knowledge of scripture. We have been blessed (SO very blessed) by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. But - having this knowledge and blessing, one of us wilfully and knowingly, goes against God. Against scripture. Be it for money or for some other selfish reason. THAT is the unpardonable sin. Knowing the Holy Spirit and having the knowledge and then acting like a depraved Judas Iscariot !!!
