Arise Shine for Your Light has Come!! (Isaiah 60)
(the darkness shall cover the Earth NKJV)
I wanted to highlight Isaiah 60 for the critical days in which we are living. Isaiah 60 is like an overview of the Day of the Lord and I wanted to focus on the first six verses (below). The chapter begins with a strong announcement: ARISE SHINE!! YOUR LIGHT HAS COME!! This may coincide with the Rapture and/or revival through the remnant Church, but the strongest focus is on Israel as a NATION! Is Israel about to be exalted in the Earth, and will the regathering of Jews to Israel become a human avalanche!!
We are in critical days! With the 14 December 2020 total solar eclipse, the Lord split the time between the two great American eclipses of 2017 and 2024 (1211 days either way, or 1212 inclusive days). Seven days later (and on the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere) is the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn (the closest in around 800 years!!).
In an unusual way, it is the DARKNESS of Covid 19 that has become the sign that the Coming of the Light in Isaiah 60 is imminent!! Covid 19 is having devastating health, economic and social consequences, and is impacting on the Church. Sadly there is little evidence of what God is looking for: REPENTANCE! We are still having some struggles in Australia, but it is with deep sorrow that I read of what is going on in almost every country, including the United States. It is worth noting the words in Isaiah 60: For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people.

For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.4 “Lift up your eyes all around, and see:
They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar,
And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.5 Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.
