There has been some confusion about whether Matthew 24:30-31 is speaking of the rapture of the Church or the Second Coming of the Lord. So let's take a look at the Scriptures :

Matthew 24:30 states, "Then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven........and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven......"

Revelation 19:11 states, "I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse , and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He will judge and make war."

In Matthew 24:30 the Lord Jesus is seen coming on the clouds of heaven in which His elect Church will be caught up or raptured to meet Him in those clouds.

In Revelation 19:11 the Lord Jesus is seen sitting upon a white horse and ready for the War of Armageddon at His Second Coming.

Matthew 24:31 states, "He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet , and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds and from one end of heaven to the other."

Revelation 19:14 states, "The armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses clothed in fine linen , white and clean."

In Matthew 24:31 the angels of the Lord are in the process of gathering together His elect Church, from all the earth and heaven, to be raptured to meet Him in the clouds.

in Revelation 19:14 His previously raptured elect Church are all mounted on white horses following the Lord at His Second Coming.

In Matthew 24:30-31 Jesus is speaking of His appearing to rapture His elect Church , and NOT speaking of His Second Coming.

According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus !
