"There are only 2
kinds of people"
There are only 2 kinds of people.
Examine yourself because you can be found in the 6 lines of
Psalm 1.
Proverbs 2:1
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments
with thee;
[2] So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine
heart to understanding;
[3] Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy
voice for understanding;
[4] If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for
hid treasures;
[5] Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find
the knowledge of God.
[6] For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh
knowledge and understanding.
2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own
selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in
you, except ye be reprobates?
Isaiah 55:6
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while
he is near:
[7] Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his
thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have
mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
[8] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways
my ways, saith the LORD.
[9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways
higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 29:10
For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep,
and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the
seers hath he covered.
[11] And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a
book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned,
saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it
is sealed:
[12] And the book is delivered to him that is not learned,
saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
[13] Wherefore the LORD said, Forasmuch as this people draw near
me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have
removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is
taught by the precept of men:
Mark 7:6
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of
you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with
their lips, but their heart is far from me.
[7] Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines
the commandments of men.
[8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the
tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many
other such like things ye do.
[9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment
of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Proverbs 6:23
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and
reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
Proverbs 4:4
He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my
words: keep my commandments, and live.
2 Timothy 3:15
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which
are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is
in Christ Jesus.
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness:
[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished
unto all good works.
Psalm 19:7
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the
testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Psalm 1:1
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the
seat of the scornful.
[2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law
doth he meditate day and night.
[3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall
not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
[4] The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the
wind driveth away.
[5] Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
[6] For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way
of the ungodly shall perish.
