Dog lovers!!!  You know how much joy The Creator gave us by giving us dogs to care for!!  One of the richest joys of my entire life!

 

This week when you happen to be petting your own “baby”, may I ask that you please send up a petition to The Throne for our “T.J.”!!  He’s almost 11 y/o Spaniel.  ALL our dogs have been special!  But this guy has been “tops”!!  BEST DOG EVER!!!

 

He came to us at a time when we were so distressed after losing our last one – and since he needed a new home anyway, he needed us; we needed him!  It was a perfect match for all of us!

 

He has a sebaceous adenoma (cyst) on his back – it’s red, ugly…. Infected…. Plus he’s got little irritated moles other places of his body….. AND periodontal problems!  (looks like it could well be infected also).

 

Vet prescribed antibiotics + a Chinese herb to stop the bleeding of the cyst.

 

She says we should schedule him for surgery at the end of the year.

 

Though honestly…. It’s my earnest hope & prayer that he will be spared from that!  That the Lord Who knows when even a sparrow falls will touch & heal him!

 

T.J. can barely even  handle antibiotics without serious repercussions (side effects) …. Which even the side effects can sometimes be life threatening!  (though the vet glosses over it & chooses to not believe me, even a “simple” antibiotic like cephalexin CRIPPLES T.J.!!   So knowing how his little body has been overly medicated ….. I really really REALLY hope he won’t have to have the surgery!

 

It'll take a miracle though – for his periodontal issue to be healed without surgery.

 

Even so, I know THE “Miracle Maker”!!
