Jerusalem under Siege....Still!

I am writing this on December 18th - Tevet 10. This is a fast day for the Jewish people and is considered by many Rabbi's as THE most important fast day. This day is specifically set aside for Jewish people to fast and contemplate on the previous sieges of Jerusalem and to bring them to repentance. It is, primarily, a fast day of repentance. Details in the first link. The 2nd link is from Breaking Israel News re this fast day. The author points out that Jerusalem is still under siege. A very interesting article, considering the times we are living in. Could this be the last opportunity for the Jewish people to repent and turn back to Almighty God before the overwhelming scourge hits?
