Here's a thought. What if Israel had informed the POTUS that they were preparing to blast Damascus into oblivion. Then POTUS abruptly and suddenly changed his stance on Syria (as he has done) and got his troops out of harms way. In the meantime, telling Russia, Iran and Turkey that Syria is now open season for them to do with as they will. Israel's muted response to this turn of events (although some in the Israeli media are furious) could be a bluff.

Hey, in this world gone stark raving bonkers.......it definitely is a thought! Evil men waxing worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
