I attended Rolling Hills Covenant Church in Rolling Hills, CA, when Chuck Swindoll was pastor. He taught the Pre-Trib Rapture.

I read "The Late Great Planet Earth".  One Easter, I went to hear Hal Lindsey in person. He taught the Pre-Trib Rapture.

I studied tapes made by R.B. Thieme Jr, of Berachah Church, Houston, TX. He taught the Pre-Trib Rapture.

In those days, I also thought the Rapture was Pre-Trib, but it came clear one day when I was reading Rev 13 that it is Mid-Trib.

We are kept from the Great Tribulation, the last half of the seven years.

Rev 13:5,6 says, “And there was given unto him (i.e., Antichrist, the first beast) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months (i.e., during the first half of the Tribulation). 6  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and THEM THAT DWELL IN HEAVEN.”

WOW! We are in Heaven just before the False Prophet takes office Mid-Trib.

Rev 13:11 says, “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

"SALVATION" IN REV. 12:10 IS THE MID-TRIB RAPTURE

Rev 12:6-12 says, “And the woman (i.e., Israel) fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place (i.e., Petra) prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days (i.e., during the Great Tribulation). 7  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, NOW IS COME SALVATION (soteria, rescue, deliverance, i.e., the MID-TRIB RAPTURE), and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

Dan 12:1 says, "And at that time (i.e., Mid-Trib) shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

It is with regret that I am often reading on the Doves that some no longer believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.

Without going into extreme detail, I can tell you that there is a Pre-Tribulation Rapture and that those who no longer believe in it are not accurate.

In Revelation Jesus says ''because you have kept the word of my patience, I will Keep you from the HOUR of trial that is to come on the entire world ................''

Some have known for some time that a correct exegesis of II Thes. chapter 2 shows that the man of sin will not be revealed until ''the departure'' takes place.

Paul explained that by saying ''Now you know (based on what he had just said), what/who restrains him.......that he may be revealed in HIS Time''.......MEANING NOT in Our time/ the church time. We are not ''looking for the appearance of the anti-chirst'' but the glorious appearance of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Some even think The Tribulation has started and ''we are in it''......but I tell you that is not true.

We are ''kept from the Hour'' and the ''time of darkness''.....because we are Not OF the darkness........as Paul wrote in I Thes 4.

The pre-tribulation rapture comes as a Thief in the Night.  The Bright and Morning Star ''arises in our hearts'' before ''that day'' starts.

LET no person deceive you brethren. The blessed Hope is the Better Resurrection that Paul strove for......and I counsel you to not be moved by those who say or write otherwise.
