When we understand that "we" are body, soul, and spirit and that these 3 are always represented as "one" whole person. Even in death the body of the righteous and the body of the unrighteous will one day be resurrected.
1. The righteous raised to eternal "life"
2. The unrighteous raised to eternal "judgment"
The righteous at the "judgment seat of Christ," and the unrighteous at the Great white throne judgment.
Remember the wicked are judged already.....lest they turn, turn, from their wicked ways unto  their Lord and savior Jesus Christ. For God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked Ezekiel 33:11 and in Ezekiel 18:32 the Lord said; For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, wherefore "turn" yourselves and "live" ye.

The spirit of man....looks exactly like the man. Look in the mirror and know that your "spirit" that God formed within you when he stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundation of the earth, is your image. Zechariah 12:1
Your spirit is the candle of the Lord. Proverbs 20:27
It was formed by God 6 days before the man Adam and the woman Eve were formed from the dust of the earth, and before God's Spirit breathed into him the breath of life'.
As God is "a" Spirit, he made us (our spirit) in his image. FIRST.
When we "worship" God, we worship him "in spirit" not with our hearts. John 4:23-24
For by man's very nature, his heart is exceedingly wicked and who can know it. Jeremiah 17:9
We "believe" in our hearts unto righteousness and we confess with our mouth unto salvation. Romans 10:10
But the "spirit of man" is the candle of the Lord. He made our spirit that it should worship him.
I understand when John wrote; I' was "in" the spirit on the Lord's day.
God fashioned the spirit of man "like" unto himself. Jesus said: MY WORDS they' are Spirit and they are "life."
Paul wrote in Romans 8:2  For "the law" OF the Spirit of life "in" Christ Jesus hath made' me "free" from the law of sin and death.
Hebrews 9:27 And "as" it is appointed "unto men" once' to die, but "after" this the judgment:
God himself, our Lord Jesus, the Word, in the beginning.....knew that he must keep that same said appointment that is appointed (unto) "men." God became flesh and dwelt among us, and thereby also was appointed to death, ONCE for "all." A perfect and sinless man worthy to break the seals of judgment and to bring that judgment unto the wicked in the last days.
God "a" Spirit, became flesh....the dust of the earth....that he would "overcome" and set right that which the first Adam lost.

The same Spirit' that works in the children of God, quickens.
It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the "flesh" profiteth nothing. Jesus said; the words' that I speak unto you, they' are spirit, and they' are life.
When our Lord appears in the clouds and speaks "come up hither" we shall be changed and we shall be "like him" for we shall see' him as he is.

So no marvel; this is how the Spirit works. Isn't it beautiful?

Remember..."the Spirit of life" is the breath of God. These two witnesses are as the "dry bones" in the Old Testament, and the dead in Christ, in that, God's breath will revive them just as God's breath caused Adam and the woman to "become" a living soul.
The man received his "spirit" when he received his life. These are always "one."
Just as the Father, the Word, and The Holy Ghost are "One"
We; mankind are the "image" of God. Not God, but His image, and we are "one" and all of us believers are of "one" body and that body is Christ.
You see...in conception...when the sperm breaks through the seed of the woman, there is a burst of "light." It is at that moment in which the spirit and life enter into the child to be born. It is as the scripture states in John 1:1-5
4) In him was "life"; and the "life was the "light" of men. 5) And the light "shineth  "in" the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
This is why we read where a child can be filled with the Holy Ghost "from" his mother's womb. Luke 1:15
( the womb is dark/darkness)
Isaiah 8:20 To the law and testimony: "if" they' speak not according to "this word", it is because there is NO "light" in them.
To The False Prophets:
Micah 3:5-6 Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make "my" people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have "vision;" and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. 7) Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the divines confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
8) But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

John was NOT transformed when he went to the third heaven. He went "in" spirit. His flesh is corrupt, in that it is continually dying up until his last breath. ( corruptible flesh) He said ; I' was "in" the Spirit on the Lord's day. His spirit was worshiping The Spirit / God.

This poses the question; Can a body live and his spirit be taken by God to somewhere else?
The answer is Yes. John did.

The breath remains in the body, and the spirit is taken to where ever God choses to take it.
I speak of this knowingly. I have not spoken of these things before, because, I did not have the authority of God to speak of them until 2009.
From childhood I have had  dreams, and visions, and spirit travel experiences. These have always been with me. I didn't understand all of these until God gave me the ISAIAH ah a(b) 1711  vision in 2009.
The lower case (b) flashed RED over the lowercase (h) and the numbers 1711.
I understood that I was to begin with ISAIAH and use each prophet ending in AH thereafter using the numbers 1711 as far as the book and chapter and verse would allow.
The Lord answered my prayers for America, the Church, and Israel.
( Don't believe these individuals who will say; O I got a word from the Lord; then begin to spout out a story in their own words.)
God only speaks that which is written in the BOOK. There is nothing more forth coming. If He speaks...it will be from His Word and His Word "only."

In this message he told me....Jeremiah 1:7 But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever
I command thee thou shalt speak.
I have shared this vision on five doves, but was not lead of the Lord to speak of the spirit travel. Now, I speak of it to you, because it is needful for your understanding of "spiritual  things". Until now I didn't think you could fully understand.
Even Paul said; he knew not, God knoweth, whether in the body or out of the body, this man he knew 14 years ago, went to the third heaven, and saw things unspeakable.

When I wrote to you that, the book we hold in our hands, "the authorized 1611 King James" is God himself and that, It is alive, a living Word, I don't think you fully understood. Jesus said; My words, they' are Spirit and they' are life. He also said; Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My Word shall not pass away. His "word" is eternal, as they are "spirit" and they are "life'. He is "The Word"!
IN THY (Father) BOOK ALL MY' MEMBERS "WERE" (past tense) WRITTEN, WHICH IN CONTINUANCE WERE FASHIONED, WHEN AS YET THERE WAS NONE OF THEM. Psalms 139:16-17 HOW PRECIOUS ALSO ARE THY "THOUGHTS" UNTO ME, O GOD! HOW GREAT IS THE SUM OF THEM!
His words are all numbered for us. Isn't that beautiful! Not only are these members Christ's DNA, but also our DNA, because we were gloriously formed "in the beginning" in His image, and are of His flesh, through Him being born into a fleshly body/earthy and becoming "one" of us. Therefore we being a member of the "great congregation" that receive "the Truth" receive the blessing and honor of "being LIKE Him, when He shall appear.

Allow me to answer this question, before you ask it.
How do I know that our "spirit" is the image we see in the mirror?

Back in the early 1990's I would see a young middle eastern boy as he sat playing. I would see him often in those years, and when I would get up in the morning, I would think on him and wonder, Why I saw him and who he was?
I wasn't until 2010 that I was shown another "future" event, in the spirit. In that 3 part spirit travel I saw an older young man with his 2 little girls, and he saw me. He extended his hand in the gesture in which meant; I haven't seen you since I was little. No words were spoken, yet I knew that it was he that I saw in the 1990's as a boy. He recognized me. I did not recognize him because he was a groan man with children.
The Lord always shows me things future. Never the past. He tells us the things that are going to happen, before they happen, so that when they happen, we will believe.
Sometimes when I am in the spirit, others will see me and smile, or nod a hello as I pass them. Other times I am not seen.
I have experienced outer darkness in the spirit. I can tell you of a surety that none would want to go there.
I have "lived" the fulfillment of 2 parts of a 3 part "vision" and there awaits yet the last and 3rd part of that "vision" to be fulfilled.
A vision is not being "in the spirit."
A dream is not being "in the spirit."
Some will say that spirit travel is not biblical...I say I have proved that it is according to the word of God.
Paul writes these words of truth: Ephesians 4:4-8
There is "one" body, and "one" Spirit, even as ye are called in "one" hope, of "your" calling; One Lord, "one" faith, "one" baptism, One God and Father of all, and "in" you' all. But unto every "one" of us is given "grace" according "to the measure" of the "gift of Christ."
8) Wherefore "he saith," When' he ascendeth up on high, he led captivity captive, and "gave GIFTS unto men."
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with "an holy calling," not according to our works, but "according to HIS OWN PURPOSE and grace, "which was given "us" in Christ Jesus " before" the world began, God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with "diverse" miricales, and "gifts" of the Holy Ghost, "according to HIS OWN WILL?

Our Lord Jesus Christ as the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, Who can say unto him; What doest thou?
Job 9:12 Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?
Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
Daniel 4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to "his will" in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

I fear God and tremble; I have been shown his ways.

There are times in which I will be studying the Word and I will have read a verse many times, and then one day when I read that same said verse that, God will show me something I had not seen before, and I say; Thank You God for showing me that. You are so good to me. I don't deserve it. Thank You God for showing me that.
The word in Job 33:10-29 is wonderful reading and learning of the ways of God towards men.
I quote 14-18 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision "of the night," when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; "Then" he openeth the ears of men, and "sealeth" their instruction. That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back "his soul" from the pit, and his "life" from perishing by the sword.

Deep sleep is when man receives dreams and visions. I can testify to this truth. It is when I lay upon my bed and commune with my heart on how marvelous a God he is. It is when I praise him and before I slip into sleep:
"that point between sleep and awake," that I have taken in the spirit to see what ever it is that he wants to show me.

Have you ever heard of such a thing that, a man would say; I have been inside the computer? Well....the Lord showed me inside the computer, the "chips" and what they are and what they do, and what they can do, and what they represent.
I will say this....they are familiar's as in a familiar spirit. One amazed greatly.
It is as a deep ocean and it causes one to desire to jump into the water.
I was very enticed to do so when I saw it. But; you see, I don't swim.
Soon and very soon, mankind will jump in far more than we do not.
We ask of the computers questions and the computer remembers where we go and what we ask it, and the new devices being promoted today. They are called "Smart."
The Mark of the beast will be literally asked for by those who will take the leap into that water.

Beloved, Now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear "what" we shall be: but we know that, "when he shall appear," we shall be "like him;" for we shall "see" him "as he is."
