Our reason for hope is not just the written word of the Bible.
The Bible reveals God to us, from it's pages we learn about God.
It is our choice then to seek to know Him intimately and to accept Him unquestionably as The Sovereign of the universe. It is now knowing Him that gives us the greatest hope. Now we can trust in His love for us because we know that He is merciful, kind, generous, forgiving and saves all those that love, serve and know Him. They belong to Him and nothing or no one can seperate them from His Love - Nothing!
This is why we have the hope of being delivered, such as a pre-tribulation rapture. Not because we are able to make a case for it in scripture alone but because our ultimate hope is in a Loving Savior, our God and for Him nothing is impossible for them that anchor their trust in Him completely. Whatever God has chosen for us we accept because we are certain of His Love. His "will" be done !
Our hope does not come from our understanding and ability to prove our belief or position by our knowledge of scripture. Our Hope comes from knowing the Word who is Jesus. He is The Truth, The Only Way and Real Life to those who's hope is in Him. These things come not from the wisdom of man - which is foolishness to God but this wisdom comes from God and can save us from much error and deception.
