Why becoming a Christian is your best option - your only option for a blessed Eternity!
Because it is your only hope of knowing God who is both Sovereign and loving.
Because He alone is God- He created all of us in His image and because He is Love- He has invested Himself into all of our lives.
He demonstrated His love to us by giving us life and the ability to love - to be free and make choices. He then actively pursued a personal relationship with us by His choice.
Because He loves us and knows all things - that we by choice, would give up our freedom, become the slaves of others, ultimately destroy ourselves and become seperated from Him permanetly- He gave us the best He could offer to prove His love and save us from this fate.
Because He can do all things - He gave Himself totally and without reservation to purchase back the lives we were freely given but lost by our choice to be seperate from Him. He came in the form of a man to set us free once again- for eternity. This is what God wants for all of us. Since He is eternal and we are created in His image or likeness to be seperated from Him results in physical and spiritual death.
"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
"There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants." John 3:16-21
