"my response this week
to a "no man knows" question"
Merry Christmas John and Doves,
This is just a response I gave this week concerning the "no man
knows" debate and I thought it was worth sharing my views.

Greetings IC7,
I believe scripture is clear that we will know if we watch. The
verse "no
man knows the day or hour " that is so quickly shouted at anyone
even
remotely suggesting a date, by Christian and most sinners who
don't even
read the Bible, is not even in the Bible. What it really says
is:
about......listen now.....ABOUT ....not when......"about that
day and hour
knoweth no man" and I don't believe it's even talking about the
rapture or
Second Coming, (He already told us the day of His Second
Coming....it's
1260 days after the abomination of desolation that Daniel spoke
of) but
the great and terrible Day of the Lord. This day will be so
horrible that
only the Father knows how bad it will be and no flesh would even
survive
if He doesn't cut it short. Now as for the timing of the
rapture, there are
several verses telling us we will know if we watch. And a day is
coming
that we will know that day.
1. 1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness,
that that day should
overtake you as a thief.
1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children
of the day: we
are not of the night, nor of darkness.
2. Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received
and heard, and
hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will
come on
thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come
upon thee.
3. Luk_12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of
the house had
known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and
not
have suffered his house to be broken through.
I just believe the majority of Scripture is clear on this. The
disciples asked three questions that day and the answers Jesus
gave were about one of those questions in Matthew 24 and none of
the three were about the great mystery day, the rapture.
